Tate McRae celebrated her Song of the Summer win at the 2025 VMAs by stepping out at Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s official after-party. And she changed into a totally different outfit. <\/p>\n

Tate wore a sheer white gown on the red carpet, and switched things up with a pair of sheer black tights, black underwear, and a sheer halter-top for the after-party.<\/p>\n

Tate chatted about her Song of the Summer win on the VMAs red carpet saying “I’m so excited, I mean this is crazy. I just feel very blessed and honored to be here, so excited. The vibes are good.”<\/p>\n

She also chatted to Entertainment Tonight <\/a>about her performance of “Revolving Door” and “Sports Car,” saying “It’s such an honor, these nights are just electric. You get to see all your friends, you get to watch the best performances, it’s very iconic, very fun.”<\/p>\n

She added of her recent tour, “It’s been magical, it’s my first ever arena tour, it’s been such a joy, we have 36 shows left so we’re barely making a dent. I’m exhausted, we literally did a show last night in Philedelphia, but we’re getting through it.”<\/p>\n

On top of Song of the Summer, Tate was nominated for including Song of the Year for “Sports Car,” Best Pop Artist, and Best Editing and Best Visual Effects for her video “Just Keep Watching.”<\/p>\n
