I think it\u2019s a testament to the production and to how it was handled that he was able to complete it and work on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/03\/entertainment\/lady-gagas-wednesday-season-2-stint-had-ndas-security-measures\/\">\u201cWednesday\u201d star <\/a>noted they\u2019re \u201cso glad\u201d that Foxx recovered and was able to<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/02\/01\/entertainment\/cameron-diaz-jamie-foxx-in-back-in-action-first-glimpse-debuts-after-set-meltdown-rumors\/\"> finish the film<\/a>, which <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/03\/21\/cameron-diaz-comeback-movie-halted-as-co-star-jamie-foxx-hit-with-40k-scam-reports\/\">co-starred Cameron Diaz in her movie comeback.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would have been such a shame if people didn\u2019t see that, because he\u2019s such an incredible guy,\u201d Lewis-Nyawo said about Foxx. \u201cBut yeah, it\u2019s a testament to how some sets can be so supportive of their artists.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz on the set of \u201cBack in Action.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9Netflix\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lewis-Nyawo reiterated that Foxx \u201cseemed great\u201d the last time they saw him on the Atlanta set before the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was working, he was doing well. And then after the fact I heard and I was like, \u2018Oh, wow,&#8217;\u201d Lewis-Nyawo recalled. \u201cSo you never know. I didn\u2019t see the light,\u201d he said in his special.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis-Nyawo told The Post that Foxx was a joy to work with. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat man just has an entourage around him at all times, and he\u2019s constantly playing tunes,\u201d they shared. \u201cI remember when we were on set, we were waiting for the director and the cinematographer to figure out a slightly tricky set up, and he would get the cast to start singing old funk tunes.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx in \u201cBack in Action.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9Netflix\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHe just got the most incredibly charismatic personality,\u201d  Lewis-Nyawo added. \u201cHe can get people to have a good time wherever they are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lewis-Nyawo also had high praise for Diaz, 53.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I really took away from that experience is Cameron Diaz is the sweetest human being on the face of the planet,\u201d Lewis-Nyawo gushed. \u201cShe is just so sweet.
