After being together on-and-off for nearly a decade, Orlando Bloom<\/strong> and Katy Perry<\/strong> parted ways earlier this year, leaving their fans heartbroken. In a recent interview on TODAY<\/strong>, Bloom spoke about his relationship with Perry post-breakup.<\/p>\n Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry first met at the Golden Globes afterparty in 2016. Since then, they\u2019ve had a very public relationship. Although they were separated for a brief period, the pair got engaged in 2019. It was followed by the birth of their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020.<\/p>\n While talking about his upcoming movie, The Cut, in an interview with Craig Melvin on TODAY<\/a>, Bloom spoke about his relationship with Perry post-split early this year.<\/p>\n When Melvin asked how he\u2019s doing after the breakup, The Lord of the Rings actor responded positively. \u201cI\u2019m great, man. I\u2019m so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter,\u201d Bloom shared. \u201cYou know, when you leave everything on the field, like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for all of it. It\u2019s nothing but love.\u201d<\/p>\n On July 3, representatives for both Bloom and Perry confirmed the breakup via a statement to TODAY.com.<\/p>\n \u201cDue to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry\u2019s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,\u201d the statement read. \u201cThey will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is \u2014 and always will be \u2014 raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.\u201d<\/p>\n While the two have separated, they continue to co-parent their daughter. Bloom also has a son, Flynn, with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. In a recent podcast, The Kyle & Jackie O Show<\/a>, Kerr shared that she\u2019s on good terms with the two and recently celebrated Daisy\u2019s birthday.
