The MTV VMAs 2025<\/a> took place last night (Sunday September 7) \u2013 check out all the live performances from the ceremony below.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s edition of the annual awards show took place at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. Ariana Grande<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Lady Gaga<\/a> went home with the biggest prizes with Video Of The Year and Artist Of The Year, respectively.<\/p>\n Other winners included Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> with Best Album (\u2018Short n\u2019 Sweet\u2019<\/a>) and Best Pop Artist, Kendrick Lamar<\/a> with Best Cinematography (\u2018Not Like Us\u2019<\/a>) and BLACKPINK<\/a> with Best Group.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, BLACKPINK\u2019s Ros\u00e9 made history as the first K-pop act to pick up the Song Of The Year gong at the VMAs<\/a> with her\u00a0Bruno Mars<\/a> collaboration, \u2018APT.\u2019<\/a>. Yungblud teamed up with Aerosmith\u2019s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry to honour Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>, while Doja Cat delivered an \u201980s-inspired airing of \u2018Jealous Type\u2019<\/a> with the help of\u00a0Kenny G<\/a>.<\/p>\n Additionally, KATSEYE played \u2018Gnarly\u2019 and \u2018Gabriela\u2019<\/a>, with Mariah Carey<\/a> \u2013 the recipient of this year\u2019s Video Vanguard Award \u2013 going viral for her \u201cbare minimum\u201d live medley of hits<\/a>, concluding with \u2018We Belong Together\u2019.<\/p>\n Also taking to the stage were the likes of Lola Young<\/a> (who was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Alternative), Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae<\/a> (who won Song Of The Summer with \u2018Just Keep Watching\u2019), Busta Rhymes<\/a> (winner of the MTV VMA Rock The Bells Visionary Award) and J Balvin<\/a> (who was nominated for Best Latin).<\/p>\n
