Young Thug has issued an apology to his girlfriend,<\/a> Mariah The Scientist, after a leaked audio recording revealed a past infidelity. The Atlanta rapper was jailed<\/a> from May 9, 2022, through October 31, 2024, and in the past week, several of his alleged phone conversations have been released to the public <\/a>through social media.<\/p>\n While some questioned and denied the authenticity <\/a>of some of the conversations, direct apologies<\/a> for his actions seemingly confirm the validity of the private chats.<\/p>\n In one phone call, the \u201cBad, Bad, Bad\u201d rapper revealed that he had cheated on the rising R&B singer and lied to her bout it. According to Hollywood Unlocked<\/a>, on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 6), a conversation was leaked where he admitted, \u201cOne of my little h*es\u2014one of my little girls\u2014she posting stuff on the internet at my condo from a long time ago.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued to detail how he confessed to the \u201cBurning Blue\u201d singer that the interaction was years old; however, it actually occured days before his initial lockup.<\/p>\n \u201cWasn\u2019t a minute ago, it was the day before I got locked up, man\u2026 Whatever happened wasn\u2019t even a month, like 18 days or something like that. Whatever, I ain\u2019t doing it with her. So whoopty doo,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n An additional call between Thugger and a woman who was not Mariah The Scientist revealed him declaring his love and planning to have children with the mystery lady, according to the blog.<\/p>\n \u201cI love you,\u201d he shared with her, responding, \u201cI love you more.\u201d<\/p>\n Thug also admitted to being intimate with a correctional officer while locked up.<\/p>\n After the calls were shared and spread across social media, the 34-year-old hopped on X to publicly apologize to Mariah The Scientist.<\/p>\n \u201cMy baby I was wrong and I\u2019m sorry for what I put u through,\u201d<\/a> pleaded Young Thug.<\/p>\n \u201cU deserved better from me. Thank you for everything and I will do anything to make this work. U showed me what love is and I hope I haven\u2019t lost u forever\u2026 everybody leave her out of this please she\u2019s an innocent girl and feels bad about all of this. Please give her peace.\u201d<\/p>\n The 27-year-old seemingly responded to the chaos with her own lyrics. On her Instagram account, she shared the words to her song \u201cRainy Days.\u201d In the song, she reflects on an unsavory relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cTell me love and hatred doesn\u2019t co-exist \/ Surely I reply that\u2019s why we\u2019re sending this \/ I was naive, not ignorant \/ So much my innocence now \/ Love me, leave me, let me down,\u201d the lyrics read.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve put forth an open heart and I\u2019ve been hurt \/ Looking back in retrospect, that ain\u2019t what I deserve \/ Holding back in blood in blood, I\u2019m gone again \/ And still I pray for love instead of common sense.\u201d<\/p>\n Gossip regarding leaked conversations even plagued the couple\u2019s relationship while Young Thug was still in jail. An in-person visit with the singer was leaked on social media <\/a>in January 2024 where the pair shared an intimate moment through a plastic divider.<\/p>\n Last March, Mariah The Scientist allegedly came to blows<\/a> with Young Thug\u2019s former lover, Cleopatra Dues, at an Atlanta lounge.
