TikTok<\/span><\/a> has partnered with Ed Sheeran to host an exclusive LIVE streaming performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The set will be filmed in front of an audience of his superfans in New York City to celebrate the release of his forthcoming new album, <\/span>Play<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exclusive event takes place in New York City on September 13 and will feature tracks from Play – released the day before – along with some of his biggest hits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sheeran has posted on TikTok to give his biggest fans in New York City a chance to attend. The entire performance will also be available to watch on TikTok LIVE from Sheeran\u2019s channel, starting at 11.20pm BST on Saturday, September 13.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ed Sheeran<\/span><\/a> said: \u201cI’m looking forward to getting back to New York \u2013 a city I love \u2013 to play this show with TikTok. I\u2019ll be playing lots of new tracks from Play on the night, and I\u2019m very happy that I get to mark the release of the new album with my fans across the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In celebration of the launch of Sheeran’s new album, TikTok will also be launching an in-app experience. The Play Album Experience includes exclusive content, allowing fans to unlock digital rewards and go further into the album.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ed Sheeran has more than 18m followers worldwide on TikTok. A global dance to his new song Sapphire from Play is already at 3.5m creations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
