It’s a new year, semester, and season for academics in the Texas Panhandle<\/a>. One of the great things about our area is West Texas A&M University<\/a> (WT). Not only is it a great place for higher education, but it’s great for entertainment.<\/p>\n The university’s arts, music, and theatre departments are a highlight. Some of the best creativity comes from this section of the university. Throughout the year, students, faculty, and staff from\u00a0the\u00a0Sybil<\/a><\/span>\u00a0B. Harrington College of Fine Arts<\/a>, the WT\u00a0School of Music<\/a>, and\u00a0the\u00a0Department<\/a><\/span>\u00a0of Art, Theatre, and\u00a0<\/a>Dance\u00a0<\/a><\/span>showcase their talents through art, music, dance, or theatre.<\/p>\n While each department has its own way of expressing these talents, the community has an opportunity to take part.<\/p>\n We invite all members of the community to enjoy our College\u2019s fine exhibitions and performances,\u201d said Dr. Dan Patterson, dean. \u201cThis thoughtful list of works demonstrates the amazing talents and abilities of our students, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Throughout the 2025-26 school year, you can\u00a0attend all sorts of art shows, concerts, or plays. While most are free to attend, some do require a paid ticket.<\/p>\n Make plans to get out and support the arts at West Texas A&M University.<\/p>\n West Texas A&M University has a rich history that has evolved over the decades. <\/p>\n From West Texas Normal College to university status, to becoming a part of the Texas A&M University System.
