Lainey Wilson has offered fans an inside peek at her Nashville home \u2014 the first home the country music star has designed herself.<\/p>\n
In an installment of\u00a0Architectural Digest’s\u00a0Open Door\u00a0series<\/a>, the \u201cWatermelon Moonshine\u201d singer gave a tour of her western-eclectic style home including her kitchen where she hosts fellow country music stars, her “Jungle Room” inspired by Elvis Presley and her closet, which houses her collection of bell-bottom jeans.<\/p>\n The leopard-print and cowboy-themed home features warm colors and western motifs such as cacti, horses and cowboy art pieces.<\/p>\n Lainey Wilson gets the nods: <\/strong>Female artists top CMA 2025 nominations<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n One standout item is a stained glass window created by a Nashville artisan who frequently designs stained glass for local churches and cathedrals. It’s one of her favorite pieces in the house, Wilson said.<\/p>\n “I know that’s cliche, ‘Home is where the heart is,’ but it’s true,” said Wilson of her Nashville home. “It’s where you go when you feel like you need to refill your cup.”<\/p>\n “It’s a place that you should feel comfortable, I’m so thankful for this home,” she added. “This home has been that for me.”<\/p>\n More: <\/strong>2025 CMA Awards nominations to be announced: Will Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson or Morgan Wallen be nominated?<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n The 2024 CMA Award Female vocalist of the year <\/a>loves hosting and often invites other country music stars into her kitchen. Her fianc\u00e9, Devlin “Duck” Hodges<\/a>, handles the grilling while she takes guests to the bar and prepares drinks, she said.<\/p>\n “I had Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan, over the other night and me and Duck were cooking for them,” said Wilson. “Right before they got here I was like, ‘Is Miranda Lambert really coming to our house?’ Like that would’ve been weird, if you would’ve told me that about 10 years ago,” she added. “But now she’s one of my buddies.”<\/p>\n The Emerald Hall \u2014 a hallway painted emerald green from floor to ceiling \u2014 features a display of the outfit Wilson wore on the cover of her fourth album,\u00a0“Bell Bottom Country<\/a>,” which she described as \u201ca really big, life-changing record\u201d for her.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery time I walk down this hall, I look at it and I’m reminded of how far I’ve come,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Wilson\u2019s favorite spot in the house is the Jungle Room, inspired by Elvis Presley\u2019s Jungle Room at Memphis’ Graceland. She tried to make it \u201cas funky as possible,” she said.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the place where she and her band hang out, write music<\/a>, rehearse, and congregate, she added.<\/p>\n The room features 70s-style velvet paintings and ample seating for hosting. A Dolly Parton coffee table turned wall hanging hangs over the bar and guitars that belonged to her father are mounted on the walls.<\/p>\n Wilson showcased her closet, which includes her extensive collection of vintage blouses, boots and hats. The night she was inducted into the Opry, Wilson was gifted a piece of preserved wood from the Ryman Auditorium, which now hangs on her wall.<\/p>\n Her fianc\u00e9 Duck had no say in the interior design, Wilson added.<\/p>\n “This house is me, this house is literally the inside of my brain,” she said. “I wanted to just kind of tip my hat to the things that I love and I wanted to create a space that felt like mine.”<\/p>\n “I got to pour my heart into this and it’s really special to me.”<\/p>\nLainey Wilson opens the doors to her Nashville home, showcases eclectic style<\/h2>\n
