Michael J. Fox<\/strong> is revered as one of Hollywood\u2019s most beloved actors, but according to Charlie Sheen<\/strong>, he isn\u2019t above letting it be known who\u2019s boss.<\/p>\n

In The Book of Sheen: A Memoir<\/em><\/a>, the Two and a Half Men<\/em> alum, 60, recalled finding out that he was being offered a role on Spin City<\/em> after a \u201chealth-compromised\u201d Fox made his exit, explaining that the reaction was comparable to \u201cAmerica\u2019s comedic treasure\u201d being replaced by \u201cBagul, the eater of children.\u201d (Fox departed after the ABC series\u2019 fourth season in 2000 amid his Parkinson\u2019s disease battle.)<\/p>\n

After the Family Ties<\/em> alum, 64, took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 2000 for his role as Michael Flaherty, Sheen recalls Fox strolling into one of the table reads, award in hand, the very next day.<\/p>\n

Recounting that the whole room began to cheer Fox on for his win, Sheen admitted<\/a> he was \u201chappy\u201d for his predecessor, but felt himself \u201cshrinking like that last sad balloon at a birthday party.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the Wall Street<\/em> actor<\/a> describes it, Fox walked over to where Sheen was seated for the table read and \u201cslammed the Emmy down \u2014 a foot from my face,\u201d telling the group \u201cThis is for you guys\u201d in an \u201corated\u201d manner.<\/p>\n

Sheen explained that there was \u201ctons\u201d of \u201cspatial science\u201d in the front of the room where Fox could have been able to \u201csky-pump his golden lady,\u201d and admitted the move left a \u201cdent in my enthusiasm.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though Sheen \u2014 who admitted the the book that the incident was in the top three moments of \u201cawkward McF**kness\u201d \u2014 was left perplexed by Fox\u2019s behavior, he explained that it inspired him to park his \u201cpetty emotional bullshit\u201d and work hard enough on the show to \u201chave that same experience.\u201d (In 2002, he would take home a Golden Globe\u00a0 for his role as Charlie Crawford in Spin City<\/em>.)<\/p>\n

There doesn\u2019t seem to be any bad blood between the actors, however. Sheen would later work alongside Fox when he reprised his role for a guest appearance on Spin City<\/em>, with the Platoon<\/em> actor admitting \u201cthere was no one better\u201d at comedic timing and organic acting instinct than the Back to the Future<\/em> star.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
