Ben Affleck<\/a> and Matt Damon<\/a>\u2019s Artists Equity has a new president of Film & Television<\/a>, with veteran executive Amy Baer<\/a> joining the banner. She will report to co-founder and CEO Affleck and chief operating officer Dillon West<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During her career, Baer<\/a> spent 17 years at Sony<\/a>, which now has a three-year deal with Artists Equity<\/a> to finance and distribute its films. Baer more recently founded Gidden Media<\/a>, serving as its president since its inception in 2012 and producing features such as The Apprentice<\/a>, while the company also executive produced the Netflix<\/a> feature Purple Hearts<\/a>.<\/p>\n
