Carrie Underwood<\/strong> is famously a vegetarian, but that doesn\u2019t mean she can\u2019t whip up some adventurous, meaty meals for her family!<\/p>\n \u201cCleaning out the freezer, had some large moose roasts, made some stew!\u201d the country singer, 42, revealed in an Instagram story, per Taste of Country<\/a>, over Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n The American Idol winner even made some \u201cMongolian moose to serve over rice,\u201d and cooked up some venison as well.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s baffling that Carrie would brag about having hunks of meat in the freezer,\u201d a source tells National Enquirer. \u201cIt\u2019s sending shock waves among animal activists.\u201d<\/p>\n The wild game was likely provided by her husband of 15 years, Mike Fisher<\/strong>, who is an avid hunter, despite Underwood \u201cswearing\u201d on their 2020 I Am Second series, Mike and Carrie: God and Country<\/a> that she would never marry one \u201cin a million years.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf he could be vegan\/vegetarian, my life would be almost perfect,\u201d Underwood \u2014 who became a vegetarian after growing up on an Oklahoma cattle ranch \u2014 joked on the show.<\/p>\n That same year, she told Rachael Ray<\/a> that she didn\u2019t even cook meat for Fisher, although she seems to have gotten over that.
