Published on September 8, 2025<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/a>Returning for its seventh year as a marquee event of Huntsville Music Month<\/a><\/strong>, Women in Music Week (WIMW) returns Sept. 12-21 with a vibrant lineup showcasing the creative talents of over 50 women in the music industry at stages citywide.<\/p>\n The week kicks off Friday, Sept. 12, with the Love Jones WIMW Kickoff Showcase at The Electric Belle featuring Carvena with Alisha, Canderiah and Zami Mare.<\/p>\n \u201cThis year, the impact of WIMW is bigger than ever,\u201d Huntsville Music Office Matt Mandrella said. \u201cWe\u2019ve doubled the number of events compared to last year, giving audiences even more opportunities to experience the power of women\u2019s artistry on stage and behind the scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe collaboration with the Huntsville Music Office<\/a><\/strong> has significantly expanded the event\u2019s scope, transforming it from a weekend celebration into a week-long extravaganza,\u201d Johnson said. \u201cThis expansion has enabled us to amplify our reach and showcase an even greater lineup of artists.\u201d<\/p>\n The following events are free to the public unless otherwise noted.
