Paul McCartney<\/a> attended Oasis\u2019<\/a> reunion tour<\/a> stop at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles on Saturday (September 6th), and he had one word to describe the evening: \u201cFabulous.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Beatle was captured taking a video of Oasis\u2019 Noel Gallagher performing \u201cLittle By Little\u201d during the show, and as the Oasis Mania twitter account notes, he was the only one standing in his section taking in the\u00a0Heathen Chemistry\u00a0cut. Later on, when exiting the show and being greeted by paparazzi, a fan asked McCartney how he liked the show, to which McCartney replied \u201cFabulous!\u201d and flashed an \u2018A-Okay\u2019 hand gesture.<\/p>\n

Oasis have been unapologetic about their love of McCartney and The Beatles as far as influences go, but that love hasn\u2019t always been reciprocated. In 1996, after Noel compared Oasis\u2019 status to be bigger than The Beatles, McCartney hit back at them in a 1997 interview with the Irish Times<\/a>: \u201cThey\u2019re derivative, and they think too much of themselves,\u201d he said, \u201cThey mean nothing to me.\u201d Gallagher eventually retracted<\/a> his statement, and it seems McCartney has warmed back up to the Mancunian act as well. As for Noel\u2019s brother Liam, he remarked in an interview that despite some initial friction between the two, he found McCartney to be \u201ca dream\u201d and recounted a hilarious story about a misunderstanding involving margaritas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Paul McCartney has a new leg of his \u201cGot Back Tour\u201d<\/a> coming up, marking his first run of shows in the US and Canada since 2022.
