Actor David Harbour<\/a><\/strong> recently praised Avengers: Doomsday<\/a><\/strong> and compared its story and quality to that of Avengers: Infinity War<\/a> and Captain America: Civil War<\/a>. He is set to return as the<\/strong> Red Guardian<\/strong> in Doomsday. Harbour last appeared in the movie Thunderbolts*<\/a>, which came out in May 2025.<\/p>\n The Stranger Things<\/a> star recently spoke about working with the Russo Brothers on Avengers: Doomsday and lauded their vision.<\/p>\n David Harbour told Screen Rant<\/a>, \u201cI was not even convinced when we started, and this movie\u2019s gonna be really good. They have a special sauce. I don\u2019t even really understand, but they [the Russos] just know how to do these things. And I think that, as evidenced in Civil War, as evidenced in Infinity War, there\u2019s something about the layers in which they put the comedy and the drama and the surprises and the scale and the epicness and all that stuff. It\u2019s incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n The 50-year-old actor further stated that he has \u201cnever been on a set like this (Avengers: Doomsday) in my life. I\u2019ve never seen anything like this.\u201d He added, \u201cYou saw those chairs. So it\u2019s like, every one of those guys and girls has a trailer. It\u2019s just insane to look around the room and be like, \u2018Oh my god, I\u2019m in the movie. There\u2019s what\u2019s his face doing that speech.\u2019 It\u2019s just enormous.\u201d<\/p>\n Marvel Studios\u2019 Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to be out on December 18, 2026. It features a massive cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Channing Tatum, and many more.
