Days of Our Lives\u2019<\/em> newest star Tyler Joseph Andrews<\/strong> is bringing Theo Carver back to Salem, but the actor has revealed that he almost joined the soap in a very different role.<\/p>\n Andrews was recently interviewed by TV Insider<\/a>, during which he revealed that he had previously auditioned for the hit series back in 2023.<\/p>\n The actor shared, \u201cI had actually auditioned for Tate, and I screen-tested with Ashley Puzemis.\u201d The role ultimately went to former Disney star Leo Howard.<\/p>\n He then went on to explain how thankfully this wasn\u2019t the end of his Days<\/em> journey. \u201cI ended up not getting it, and I really wanted the job. Born on May 29, 2003 and was last seen in 2023. Theo has been portrayed by seven actors over the course of his existence. Most notably Kyler Pettis<\/strong> and most recently portrayed by Cameron Johnson.<\/strong><\/p>\n Theo\u2019s had various on-screen romances over the years, with his biggest relationships being with Ciara, Claire, and Chanel. Most recently it was revealed that Theo and Claire had broken up. Leaving a single Theo to arrive back in Salem.<\/p>\n Fans may be wondering what brings the fan-favorite character back to town. Theo has multiple family<\/a> members in town, ranging from his father and step-mother, Abe and Paulina, to his uncle\u2019s (E.J. and Tony), and their children.
