Instead of killing him, Wednesday struck his restraints with an axe and said, \u201cI missed.\u201d Doohan has talked about this in a recent interview.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">Hunter Doohan reveals why Tyler was saved in Wednesday Season 2<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Doohan explained to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/fantasy\/wednesday-season-2-hunter-doohan-tyler-saved-exclusive-newsupdate\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:RadioTimes.com;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">RadioTimes.com<\/a> that the moment reflected the complex relationship between Wednesday and Tyler. Their connection began as a potential romance before evolving into a rivalry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He said, \u201cTheir dynamic throughout the whole show, and the fact that, when it comes to it, instead of killing him and kind of ending it, all she frees him, they actually help each other out.\u201d Doohan added that Jenna Ortega came up with the improvised final line herself, noting, \u201cShe came in with so many great ideas. Doohan noted, \u201cSo when we kind of see him at the end, he knows he\u2019s gonna die. He doesn\u2019t have a master. He\u2019s kind of lost all hope. And then it\u2019s this one little glimmer of hope that comes from Capri\u2019s character.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">That hope arrived when Isadora Capri, played by Billie Piper, revealed some Hydes that live without masters. Tyler and Capri\u2019s character set off to locate the group, giving Tyler a possible path forward.
