Mitski<\/a> has announced that her new live film, titled The Land<\/em>, will be released in cinemas worldwide. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n The upcoming movie was filmed over three nights at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, last September, as part of the New York singer-songwriter\u2019s \u2018The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n Her seventh and latest studio album of the same name arrived in 2023, with NME<\/em> hailing it as \u201cmasterful\u201d in a four-star review<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Land<\/em> will be released exclusively at 630 cinemas across 30 countries around the globe, for a limited time only. It is produced by Moniker Films and Good Harbor Music, in association with Working Class Films and Dead Oceans<\/p>\n An official synopsis reads: \u201cMitski: The Land<\/em> converts the magic and majesty of witnessing Mitski live onto screen. Filmed over three nights at Atlanta\u2019s Fox Theatre in 2024, this is a thrilling portrayal of what kept hundreds of thousands of fans rapt at venues across the globe.<\/p>\n \u201cA phenomenal live performer, Mitski brought her acclaimed seventh album, \u2018The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We\u2019, to the world\u2019s stages in theatrical and daring fashion, presenting as much a spectacle as an expansive live show.\u201d<\/p>\n It continues: \u201cAlongside a seven-piece band and with choreography by Monica Mirabile, Mitski uses every inch of the stage to her advantage, weaving in and out of the spotlight and shadows. In 2023, NME<\/em> gave the artist\u2019s show at the Union Chapel in the capital a glowing five-star review<\/a>.
