Hoda Kotb<\/a> got a warm welcome on the Tuesday, September 9, episode of Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kotb returned<\/a> to the NBC morning show to highlight NYC gym teacher Reyes Andon, who won the 2025 NYCPS Big Apple Physical Education Award for having his students take a hands-on approach during class. Kotb and her Today<\/em> colleagues also surprised Andon and his students with a large check and plenty of sports supplies live on the 30 Rockefeller Center plaza.<\/p>\n After the segment, Kotb joined her former cohosts inside Today<\/em>\u2018s Studio 1A. \u201cEverything\u2019s great. My kids are in 3rd grade and 1st grade. I now wake up at 5:30 [a.m.],\u201d she shared in an update about her life post-Today<\/em>. \u201cI feel really good. My little business is doing its thing. I\u2019ve got a new book. It\u2019s just a different life, but it\u2019s funny how easily you can find yourself starting something new.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cI mean, I miss you guys like crazy. I miss everybody. Being here made my heart hurt a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> went on to suggest, \u201cWell, you can always come back.\u201d Savannah Guthrie<\/a>, for her part, pointed out, \u201cJenna\u2019s still searching for friends.\u201d (Bush Hager has hosted the four hour of Today<\/em>, Today With Jenna & Friends<\/em>, with celebrity guest hosts since Kotb\u2019s Today<\/em> exit in January.)<\/p>\n
