ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive<\/a> trailer for Heavens: The Boy and His Robot<\/strong>, Prestige International Pictures\u2019 upcoming action sci-fi epic, which hails from filmmaker Rich Ho. This marks Singapore\u2019s first live-action mecha movie, which took over a decade to complete.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe movie follows the journey of a struggling young pilot, Kai, and his fighter mecha, a giant robot named Little Dragon, set against a backdrop of epic galactic warfare. The movie explores Kai\u2019s dream of joining the Mecha Corps to bring peace to a war-torn world and the unique friendship that develops between him and his mecha,\u201d reads the official synopsis.<\/p>\n

The video introduces newcomer Jonathan See as Kai, a young pilot who develops a unique bond with his fighter mecha. It also highlights his determination to save the world from an intergalactic threat. The trailer also gives the audience a glimpse of some of the movie\u2019s action-packed sequences.<\/p>\n

Heavens: The Boy and His Robot is written, directed, and produced by Rich Ho in his feature-length directorial debut. The movie has been Ho\u2019s passion project for 12 years. In addition to serving as its writer and director, he\u2019s also the music composer, production designer, director of photography, and co-visual effects supervisor. It is executive-produced by BC Tan, Takaki Nakadai, Sherman Ng, Penny Wall, Richard Stewart, and Grant Bradley.<\/p>\n
