50 Cent is a legend in music<\/a> and screenplays<\/a>, and his latest move may be his biggest<\/a> yet. The 50-year-old artist recently purchased the rights to Paid In Full<\/em> and is adapting the film into a television series<\/a> with a very special helping hand.<\/p>\n The Queens rapper announced the power move<\/a>, pun intended, via Instagram. \u201cI now have the rights to PAID IN FULL, im developing it into a premium Tv show,\u201d he wrote in the post\u2019s caption. \u201cif you like God Father of Harlem your gonna love this.\u201d<\/p>\n The television series will be co-executive produced by Cam\u2019ron<\/a>, who played Rico in the classic 2002 film. He added, \u201cCam set to Executive produce along side me, if you want in get at him I\u2019m out of the country.\u201d He shared the original film poster, along with screenshots of Ace (Wood Harris), Rico, and Mitch (Mekhi Phifer). The \u201cHey Ma\u201d rapper was a bit more animated in his announcement.<\/p>\n \u201cSo we\u2019ve been talking about this for a few months now, and it\u2019s almost time,\u201d he wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cThx @50cent for the opportunity my ni**a. We gonna burn this sh*t down!!\u201d The timing for this revelation could be intentional or purely coincidental. Damon Dash<\/a>, one of the 2002 film\u2019s producers, has been going back and forth <\/a>with Cam for the last few weeks and also recently filed for bankruptcy<\/a>.<\/p>\n Nonetheless, in typical Dame fashion, he jabbed at the Harlem rapper in his reaction to the announcement. \u201cCam just made a post, major announcement. I wanna congratulate him for making 50 his new boss,\u201d he said in a video. \u201cSo congratulations Cam, 50 is now your new boss and you\u2019re proud of it.
