\n\tHilary Duff has signed<\/a> with Atlantic Records in anticipation of her return to music.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuff, who last released her fifth studio album \u201cBreathe In. Breathe Out.\u201d in June 2015, will also be the subject of a docuseries that chronicles her journey back to music and explores her personal life.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe docuseries will be directed and executive-produced by Sam Wrench, who has sat at the helm for \u201cA Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter\u201d and \u201cTaylor Swift: The Eras Tour,\u201d through Next of Kin Content. According to a release, the docuseries will embrace \u201cthe ups, downs and everything in between,\u201d and promises that \u201cfans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals, and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuff previously released her first few albums (\u201cMetamorphosis,\u201d \u201cHilary Duff<\/a>\u201c) through Buena Vista and Hollywood Records. She signed to RCA Records in July 2014 and subsequently released its first single \u201cChasing the Sun\u201d written by Jason Reeves, Colbie Caillat and Toby Gad. \u201cBreathe In. Breathe Out.\u201d was her sole album on the imprint and at the time her first in seven years following 2007\u2019s \u201cDignity.\u201d Her last music release was a cover of Third Eye Blind\u2019s \u201cNever Let You Go\u201d alongside RAC and her husband Matthew Koma.<\/p>\n

\n\tOver the past decade, Duff has focused her attention more on acting, appearing on \u201cYounger\u201d from 2015 through 2021 before joining \u201cHow I Met Your Father,\u201d which lasted for two seasons.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
