Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> is taking his job one day at a time.<\/p>\n On Sunday, September 7, the TV personality, 57, attended the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys, and revealed he isn\u2019t sure how much longer he\u2019ll host Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em>, which began in 2003.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not prepared to answer that question, but it is something that I think about a lot, and things have changed a lot over the last few years,\u201d Kimmel told IndieWire<\/em> per People<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cEach day is a new adventure and I kind of take them as they come,\u201d he added before joking, \u201cIs that a good way of dodging the question?\u201d<\/p>\n The comedian\u2019s comments<\/a> come after Stephen Colbert\u2019s<\/strong> The Late Show<\/em> was canceled by CBS in August, with the show airing through May 2026.<\/p>\n After the news was announced, Kimmel took to Instagram to show support for Colbert,<\/a> 61, writing, \u201cLove you Stephen. F**k you and all your Sheldons CBS.\u201d<\/p>\n In February 2024, Kimmel discussed his future retirement with the Los Angeles Times.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI think this is my final contract.
