Reservoir Media<\/a> has closed a deal to acquire Miles Davis<\/a>\u2019s publishing catalog, the company announced on Tuesday, giving Reservoir<\/a> ownership over one of the most iconic catalogs in the history of jazz music.<\/p>\n

Reservoir didn\u2019t disclose how much it paid for the catalog but confirmed that with the acquisition, the company is joining Davis\u2019s estate, which is overseen by the late musician\u2019s children, Cheryl<\/a> and Erin Davis<\/a>, his nephew, Vincent Wilburn Jr.<\/a>, as well as by general manager Darryl Porter<\/a> and Attorney<\/a> Jeff Biederman<\/a>.<\/p>\n
