Things are bubbling over on Real Housewives of Orange County<\/a> and battle lines are being drawn. The girls took lie detector tests at Emily Simpson\u2019s<\/a> party, and Katie Ginella<\/a> failed spectacularly. Now Katie is saying she feels like it was all a setup. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a><\/strong> star Erika Jayne<\/a><\/strong> is unimpressed and said the whole show, in general, is a setup.<\/p>\n She\u2019s not entirely wrong, though. The Housewives franchise isn\u2019t exactly designed to show off only the best sides of these women. After all, where\u2019s the drama in that? The show thrives on showing off the biggest fights<\/a>, the nastiest feuds<\/a>, and more. After all, that\u2019s part of the reason people tune in.<\/p>\n At the moment, Katie is not having an easy go of it. She\u2019s a party of one right now on RHOC, and all the other ladies are against her. This comes on the heels of a very questionable lie detector test<\/a>, which she failed, and other people passed despite flashbacks showing that they were lying. Very sus indeed!<\/p>\n On their podcast Two T\u2019s In A Pod, Erika and Teddi Mellencamp<\/a> discuss Katie\u2019s reaction to Emily\u2019s party and the immediate aftermath.<\/p>\n \u201cJenn (Pedranti) tells them that Katie thinks this was all a setup,\u201d Teddi says. She paused and added, \u201cThis setup thing, though, I don\u2019t like\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe whole show\u2019s a setup, you fool,\u201d Erika said quickly. \u201cWhat part of this are you just coming to realize? The whole f*cking thing is a setup.\u201d<\/p>\n The quickness with which she said it clearly indicates that she\u2019s had her own experiences with the show, highlighting her not-so-best moments. She said previously that reality TV is difficult<\/a> and is not for the faint of heart.<\/p>\n Teddi laughed at her conviction. And both women joked about the amount of \u201csetups\u201d in the Housewives franchise. They couldn\u2019t believe the RHOC ladies didn\u2019t realize this all by now. Eventually, Erika shakes her head and says, \u201cI\u2019m really in a bad mood. \u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re in a bad mood and I\u2019m post-immunotherapy,\u201d Teddi says. \u201cSo we\u2019re a big bag of uppers over here. Someone needs to drug us.\u201d They proceeded to laugh over this until Erika said, \u201cWe need tranquilizers.\u201d<\/p>\n Maybe that would help some of the RHOC ladies, too?<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/a>\u00a0airs on Thursdays at 9\/8c on Bravo.
