JACKSON, MI \u2013 Michigan residents are experiencing an early taste of fall, and it\u2019s almost time to get cozy in a flannel, enjoy a beer and try some chili samples in downtown Jackson.<\/p>\n
K105.3 is hosting its 5th annual Fall Fest & Chili Classic from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 in downtown Jackson. The event will be filled with music, activities and plenty of chili to try, according to the event\u2019s Facebook page.<\/a><\/p>\n The event is free to attend but tasting wristbands for the chili cost $5. People will be able to sample from dozens of participants and then vote on their favorite.<\/p>\n Chili tastings begin at 2 p.m. and end at 4 p.m., or when the chili runs out. Chili awards begin right after, followed by live entertainment on two stages.<\/p>\n A Kids\u2019 Kingdom will feature games, crafts and activities. Visitors can also browse various vendors, as well as shop at downtown stores and boutiques.<\/p>\n Jackson\u2019s downtown social district will also allow patrons to grab drinks from some downtown bars and restaurants.
