And I was like, I can, if you want to you can and it comes down to that so I was just like, I will make it work \u2026 I can ask for help more.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">She was arrested for domestic violence in 2023<\/h2>\n<p>In Feb. 2023, Paul and Mortensen got into a fight that\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/02\/23\/mormon-influencer-taylor-frankie-paul-arrested-for-domestic-violence\/\">led to Paul\u2019s arrest<\/a>. She allegedly threw a phone, a wooden play set and \u201cheavy metal chairs\u201d at Mortensen, and one of the chairs apparently hit one of her children.<\/p>\n<p>Paul was charged with aggravated assault but\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/09\/06\/soft-swinging-mormon-influencer-taylor-frankie-paul-reaches-plea-deal-in-domestic-violence-case\/\">avoided jail time after taking a plea deal.<\/a>\u00a0Her other charges \u2014 two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief \u2014 were all dismissed with prejudice.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Taylor Frankie Paul with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram \/ @taylorfrankiepaul<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A few months before the incident, Paul announced she was expecting her first baby with Mortensen, but she then suffered an ectopic pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I just, you know, went a little crazy and I could not take the pain,\u201d Paul told The Post <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/05\/entertainment\/secret-lives-of-mormon-wives-star-taylor-frankie-paul-recalls-her-domestic-violence-arrest\/\">in an exclusive interview<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like I was really struggling post-divorce,\u201d Paul shared. \u201cI lost a baby and then I had a chemical pregnancy, so there was just so much in little time, while I\u2019m obviously healing from a divorce.
