Hilary Duff is plotting her return to music a decade after her last release. <\/p>\n
The \u201cLizzie McQuire\u201d star hinted that she was working on “new music \u2026 or something” in an Instagram post<\/a> Tuesday, Sept. 9. <\/p>\n The post also included photos of Duff in the studio with her husband and producer Matthew Koma. <\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re so ready for new music,\u201d the official Barbie Instagram commented on Duff\u2019s post.<\/p>\n \u201cDreams are coming true,\u201d the official Disney+ Instagram commented. <\/p>\n Variety<\/a> noted that Duff signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. The singer\/actress is also working on a new docuseries that chronicles her journey back to music and explores her personal life.<\/p>\n Duff\u2019s new music will be her first since her 2015 album, \u201cBreathe In. Breathe Out.\u201d Duff first burst onto the music scene with her 2003 album \u201cMetamorphosis\u201d that topped Billboard 200 and has gone on to sell more than 4 million copies, according to the RIAA. She followed up with \u201cHilary Duff\u201d in 2004 and \u201cDignity\u201d in 2007. Duff\u2019s most popular songs include \u201cCome Clean,\u201d \u201cSo Yesterday,\u201d \u201cWake Up\u201d and \u201cWith Love.\u201d<\/p>\n Over the past decade, Duff has shifted more toward acting.
