Taylor Frankie Paul put out the call, and Bachelorette came knocking<\/h2>\n

The news of Taylor joining the Bachelorette was first shared on the Wednesday, September 10 episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper<\/span>. Taylor told Alex it felt \u201csurreal\u201d to reveal the news to the world. The announcement comes just weeks after two of her co-stars were cast on Dancing with the Stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt has not hit me right now in this moment,\u201d Taylor admitted. \u201cI\u2019m just thinking about it, and it\u2019s not real. And it\u2019s not going to be until I think the limo is pulling up, you know? And meeting the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor confessed that she\u2019s feeling a little \u201cnervous\u201d about embarking on this new reality TV journey. She said she\u2019s been asking herself, \u201cHow did I get here?\u201d However, the answer is that she kind of asked for it.<\/p>\n

The mother of three posted a TikTok<\/a> a few months ago, joking about wanting to be on the show. The Bachelor producers caught wind and gave her a call. The rest is history.<\/p>\n

Taylor said, \u201cI don\u2019t know if that got their attention \u2026 It was mainly a joke to me \u2026 Then we had a meeting. I still didn\u2019t believe it until I got the invitation, \u2018Will you be our Bachelorette?\u2019 Same reaction, shaking, pacing back and forth. There\u2019s no way, no way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news of Taylor\u2019s casting comes months after the Bachelorette producers put the show on a brief pause<\/a>. The long-running dating show typically films at the beginning of the year, with episodes airing over the summer.<\/p>\n

We then learned that the showrunners felt like Bachelor Nation was \u201cin crisis\u201d and recruited the Real Housewives casting team<\/a> to help give the franchise a \u201cfresh start.\u201d They\u2019re definitely getting it with this SLOMW crossover.<\/p>\n
