After several weeks of reruns, a new season of \u201cJeopardy!<\/a>\u201d is finally in swing.<\/p>\n The show\u2019s Season 42 premiere<\/a>, which aired Monday, saw the return of Jonathan Hugendubler, an adjunct professor and trivia host from Baltimore who defeated 16-game champ Scott Riccardi in the final game of Season 41.<\/p>\n The first game of the new season tested the players\u2019 knowledge on a wide range of subjects \u2014 including biology, African history and a category called \u201cBicycles on the big screen\u201d that referenced a Robert Redford classic.<\/p>\n The contestants were quick to buzz in on the following clue in the \u201cBicycles on the big screen\u201d category: \u201c\u2018Raindrops keep fallin\u2019 on my head\u2019 plays as Paul Newman hams it up on a bike in this film that co-starred Robert Redford.\u201d<\/p>\n Caroline Paul, an HR specialist from Washington, D.C., was first to the buzzer and came up with the correct response: \u201c\u2018Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n The clue comes about a month after Redford\u2019s 89th birthday, and a few months ahead of the final Sundance Film Festival in Utah<\/a> that will honor the actor\u2019s passion for independent storytelling, the Deseret News<\/a> previously reported.<\/p>\n Another clue in the same category actually referenced a movie that premiered this past January at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.<\/p>\n The $800 clue: \u201cIn a 2025 HBO Max doc, Paul Reubens said people riding bicycles around the WB lot inspired the stolen-bike plot of this movie.\u201d<\/p>\n The answer: \u201cPee-wee\u2019s Big Adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n The documentary \u201cPee-wee as Himself\u201d was a Sundance hit and recently won the Emmy Award for outstanding documentary or nonfiction special category.<\/p>\n Although Paul knew her Robert Redford trivia, the victory ultimately went to Hugendubler, the defending champion who picked up steam when he chose to wager all of his $10,600 on a Daily Double \u2014 a big move that paid off.<\/p>\n Season 42 of \u201cJeopardy!\u201d has come with a major change: For the first time in the show\u2019s history, new episodes are available for streaming, the Deseret News<\/a> previously reported.<\/p>\n Episodes are available to stream the following day on Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and Peacock in the United States, and on the platform Crave in Canada, per the Deseret News.<\/p>\nRobert Redford gets a shoutout on \u2018Jeopardy!\u2019<\/h3>\n
