The actress announced she is expecting her first baby with husband Jasper Waller-Bridge at the premiere of her film Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Dockery and her husband tied the knot in September 2023<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Michelle Dockery’s<\/a> dog was less than impressed with her pregnancy news.<\/p>\n When the Downton Abbey<\/em> star, 43, stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/a> <\/em>on Tuesday, Sept. 9, she spoke about her pregnancy, which she recently announced at the London premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n Knowing how much she loves her dog Alfie, host Jimmy Fallon asked Dockery how he reacted to learning that his family is growing.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, people keep asking me, \u2018Does he know?\u2019 You know, they\u2019re so sensitive. He doesn\u2019t care,\u201d Dockery said. \u201cI don\u2019t think he has any clue.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think he does,\u201d Fallon replied.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m quite disappointed,\u201d Dockery added.<\/p>\n \u201cReally? Her baby bump was on full display as she posed from the side, showing off her long, sheer train and the glittery silver lining of the top of her dress.<\/p>\n The actress also posed with her husband, who is actress, writer and director Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s brother.<\/p>\n Dockery and Jasper\u00a0tied the knot<\/a>\u00a0in September 2023. At the time, the actress thanked the public for their \u201csupport and kindness<\/a>\u201d via a rep, and years later, she revealed during a conversation with\u00a0The Guardian<\/em>\u00a0that she considered herself a “widow.”<\/p>\n “That’s the first time I’ve said that, and it’s a bit of a relief to say so,”\u00a0she said in 2017.<\/p>\n
