Sony Pictures\u2019 horror sequel 28 Years Later<\/em> debuted No. 1 on the Official Film Chart, the weekly U.K. home entertainment sales chart, through Sept. 10.<\/p>\n

Two decades after redefining modern horror, director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland reunite to deliver a sequel to the 2002 original starring Cillian Murphy and Naomie Harris.<\/p>\n

Anchored by Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes, the sequel blends suspense with character drama, seen through the eyes of a child navigating a fractured Britain.<\/p>\n

Moving down from top spot is Paramount Pictures\u2019 Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning<\/em> (2).\u00a0The highest re-entry this week comes from Warner\/New Line Cinema\u2019s The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It,<\/em> following the theatrical release of its sequel The Conjuring: Last Rites<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The saga, inspired by real events, continues as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) face a new case of demonic possession and supernatural horror.<\/p>\n
