This year marks the 20th anniversary of DWTS<\/em> being on the air, which is bringing up a lot of memories for those who were with the show from the beginning.<\/p>\n One such personality walking down memory lane is former host Tom Bergeron<\/strong>, who was a fixture on the series for the first 28 seasons of DWTS<\/em>. Posting a throwback photo on Instagram<\/a> of himself lying on a couch backstage, he also gave a key tip to those who are participating on the show this season.<\/p>\n “Best wishes to the @dancingwiththestars gang for the milestone season premiere next week,” he wrote alongside the image on September 8. “Here\u2019s a tip from my years hosting: pre-show office naps help conserve energy. \ud83d\ude0f.”<\/p>\n Given how it’s been more than five years since Tom was on Dancing With the Stars, <\/em>some were still nostalgic and hoping to see him back on their screens very soon.<\/p>\n “As much as I love the show, it will never be the same without you!!” one person wrote in the comments. “We love and miss you hosting! YOU are dancing with the stars! \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4c,” another declared. “You are THE BEST host, Tom! Great respect. \ud83d\udc4f We miss you,” a different follower added.<\/p>\n While Dancing With the Stars<\/em> currently has Julianne Hough<\/strong> and Alfonso Ribeiro<\/strong> as the co-hosts, we love to see Tom pop up with his experiences from working on the show. And as for the possibility of seeing Tom back in the DWTS<\/em> ballroom at some point, he did tell USA Today<\/a><\/em> in July 2025 that he’d be open to the opportunity if it came his way.<\/p>\n “[Executive producer Conrad Green<\/strong>]’s been largely responsible for getting the show back on track,” he told the outlet at the time. “We did have lunch, and we did talk, and I offered a scenario where I might come back for a night in a certain capacity.
