Ten years after Hilary Duff released her last album, the \u201cLizzie McGuire\u201d star has signed with Atlantic Records for her return to music. <\/p>\n
Duff, 37, will also be the subject of an upcoming docuseries that \u201cwill chronicle Duff\u2019s long-awaited musical return and personal journey, offering an unfiltered vignette into Hilary\u2019s world,\u201d per People.<\/a><\/p>\n
Her fifth and most recent studio album, \u201cBreathe In. Breathe Out,\u201d was released in June 2015. The singer also posted about the announcement on her Instagram. <\/p>\n
The docuseries will be directed and executive produced by Sam Wrench, who also led projects such as \u201cA Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter\u201d and \u201cTaylor Swift: The Eras Tour,\u201d per The Hollywood Reporter. <\/a><\/p>\n
According to a press release, the docuseries will embrace \u201cthe ups, downs and everything in between,\u201d and promises that \u201cfans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals, and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade.\u201d<\/p>\n
The docuseries will feature performances, stylized interviews and videos from her personal archive, per People. <\/a><\/p>\n
