Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> recently reflected on her extreme emotions when she met Paul McCartney<\/a> for the first time.<\/p>\n Carpenter revealed how she felt when she met the legendary singer in her recent interview with Nardwuar, where the two checked out various records. When McCartney came up and Nardwuar asked about him (around the 29:30 mark), Carpenter explained how she linked up with the Beatles legend for the first time.<\/p>\n \u201cI love Paul, he\u2019s one of my favorites,\u201d she said. \u201cI met Paul for the first time at a party. I don\u2019t know what party it was, but I remember thinking, like, \u2018Why is Paul McCartney here? The second time that I met him was at the SNL 50th anniversary. He was so sweet to me, and it was the best interaction. He\u2019s one of my dream people to work with.\u201d<\/p>\n Back in December, Carpenter compared meeting McCartney to Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things. “I just actually formed tears in my eyes, and then he was just so normal and casual and was so charming,” she said during an appearance on Late Night with Stephen Colbert. “It just felt like I was kind of entering an alternate universe, like the Upside Down vibes, like Stranger Things, but a lot happier than Stranger Things.”<\/p>\n Elsewhere in her Nardwuar interview, Carpenter was shocked to learn that her former record label, Hollywood Records, only printed up 200 vinyl copies of her debut studio album, Eyes Wide Open, in 2015. \u201cOnly 200 made? They really didn\u2019t give a f**ksabout me!\u201d she said while laughing. The singer admitted she didn\u2019t have a copy of it either.<\/p>\n In other recent Carpenter news, it seems like she may have a collaboration<\/a> with Nicki Minaj<\/a> coming out in the near future.<\/p>\n On Aug. 29, Minaj posted \u201cDon\u2019t Worry I\u2019ll Make You My Worry\u201d from Carpenter\u2019s new album, Man\u2019s Best Friend, on her Instagram Story.
