Family campout<\/strong><\/p>\n The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will host its 14th annual Family Campout at Old Settlers Park. Attendees will set up a tent, eat dinner, play games and sit around a campfire eating s\u2019mores. The event will also include a movie in the park before campers go to bed, and breakfast will be served in the morning.<\/p>\n Penfold Theatre Co. presents: \u201cThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The local theater troupe will host a production of \u201cThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,\u201d which centers around a group of young students\u2014protrayed by adults\u2014who attempt to prove themselves as spellers and talented individuals.<\/p>\n Music on Main: Fall 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n A series of free concerts will be held in downtown Round Rock on Wednesdays this fall. Spanning all genres, nine bands are set to perform at Prete Plaza starting in September and running through November. Rochelle & The Sidewinders will take the stage first on Sept. 24.<\/p>\n Mainly Art<\/strong><\/p>\n The city of Round Rock Arts and Culture department is offering a free opportunity for visual artists to show and sell art. The event will spotlight 15 different artists, giving visitors the opportunity to walk down Main Street and enjoy a variety of artwork.<\/p>\n Zero Waste Starts Here<\/strong><\/p>\n A seminar on household waste reduction will be held at St. Andrew\u2019s Presbyterian Church in Austin. A discussion among expert panelists will include ways to reduce use of plastics, practical composting methods, recycling programs and reuse of no-longer-needed items. Panelists include Precinct Two Travis County Commissioner Brigid Shea, Austin Resource Recovery Director Richard McHale, Plastic Reduction Project Founder Sean Winn and Bob McGivney, director of business development for Circular Services.<\/p>\n Round Rock Arts Fest<\/strong><\/p>\n The city of Round Rock will host its annual Round Rock Arts Fest in the downtown area, featuring visual and performing artists. With nearly 100 artist vendors, the event will include interactive art experiences, performances, food trucks and more. Bluebonnet Beer Co. will also host an Oktoberfest at the festival.<\/p>\n Aaron Lewis and the Stateliners<\/strong><\/p>\n The country music artist will bring his American as it Gets Tour to the Round Rock Amp. Lewis, who is also the lead singer of Staind, garnered two No. 1 Billboard Country Album Debuts with \u201cTown Line\u201d in 2011 and \u201cSinner\u201d in 2016.<\/p>\n Walk Against Hunger<\/strong><\/p>\n Backpack Friends, a nonprofit organization benefitting Pflugerville ISD, Round Rock ISD and other districts, will host a hunger walk to raise money for food for at-risk children. The event will take place at Pfluger Park, which features a playground area, hike and bike trails, a basketball court and sand volleyball court. Every $5 raised will equal one weekend of food for a child in need.<\/p>\n SCARS<\/strong><\/p>\n A series of monologues and short stories through choreopoem will take place at Penfold Theatre Company in Round Rock. SCARS, written and produced by Zana Muscove, calls attention to the \u201chidden wounds carried by people of color.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
