Peter Hook & The Light<\/a> have announced their return to Australia for the third time in the 2020s thus far. The band, lead by former Joy Division<\/a> and New Order<\/a> bassist Peter Hook<\/a>, will be playing New Order\u2019s 2001 album Get Ready<\/em> in its entirety to celebrate its 25th anniversary. They will also play a second set each night composed of both New Order and Joy Division\u2019s greatest hits. Details below.<\/p>\n Hook and co. were last in Australia circa May 2024<\/a>, as part of the band\u2019s Substance<\/em> world tour. On it, the band played a 31-song setlist composed of 16 New Order singles and 15 Joy Division singles. In 2022, the band played Australia on their Joy Division: A Celebration<\/em> world tour, which saw them play both of Joy Division\u2019s studio albums \u2013 Unknown Pleasures<\/em> and Closer<\/em> \u2013 in their respective entireties.<\/p>\n Get Ready<\/em>, New Order\u2019s seventh studio album, was released in August of 2001. The album was a worldwide success, reaching the top 10 in six different countries \u2013 including Australia, where it peaked at number seven on the ARIA<\/a> Albums Chart.
