Chance the Rapper<\/a> and his ex-wife Kirsten Corley<\/a> are on good terms as exes and co-parents.<\/p>\n The Star Line<\/em><\/a> artist, who settled his divorce<\/a> from Corley in January, was given the floor to discuss how he and Corley are navigating co-parenting on the Friday (Sept. 5) episode of Cam Newton<\/a>‘s Funky Friday<\/em><\/a> podcast. Chance began by saying that the arrangement isn’t “perfect.” “I’m not going to make it seem like I send her ‘Grand rising, queen’ every day,” he joked.<\/p>\n “We’re two humans that have known each other forever it feels like. Chance and Corley share two daughters, Kensli, 9, and Marli, 6.<\/p>\n “It ain’t even really nothing else to not be on the same page about,” he continued. “So, like, with that in mind and understanding how much we both love our kids and we’re both in our 30s now, we learn how to make concessions to do what’s best for the kids.”<\/p>\n The Chicago native explained that he and Corley are “learning how to be a unit” as their daughters are going to be “extremely important to their communities, to their families, and to each other.”<\/p>\n “So, we trying to continuously instill that unity that ain’t nobody coming between us,” Chance continued, adding that the family still travels together.<\/p>\n “I don’t think that that’s the only way to have a positive relationship, too,” he explained. “I know some people that don’t talk to their BD at all, don’t talk to their BM at all.
