Now, the song is officially on streaming as an Amazon Music Unlimited<\/a> exclusive. Check it out below.<\/p>\n While Berninger\u2019s rendition of \u201cBlue Monday\u201d leans less on synths and more on electric guitar than the original, it\u2019s nevertheless a surprisingly dynamic and enthralling cover. This studio version was recorded at Los Angeles\u2019 Knobworld with production from Sean O\u2019Brien, who also helmed the boards on Berninger\u2019s most recent album, Get Sunk<\/a>.<\/p>\n Several other personnel who contributed to\u00a0Get Sunk played on the \u201cBlue Monday\u201d cover, including O\u2019Brien (electric guitars), Garret Lang (bass), Julia Laws (synthesizer, background vocals), and Sterling Laws (drums, drum programming, percussion).<\/p>\n Get Sunk, the follow-up to 2020\u2019s\u00a0Serpentine Prison<\/a>, dropped this past May via Book\/Concord Records.
