The Downtown Rising music festival will return this month for its sixth year in Parc International in Lafayette.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Sept. 28, the outdoor venue will host local reggae band The Wailers, zydeco legend Keith Frank and Lafayette entertainer DJ Digital, among other acts and vendors at the one-day event.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The gates to Parc International will open at 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, and Downtown Rising tickets<\/a> are $26 on the Social Entertainment website\u00a0\u2014 a Lafayette entertainment and hosting company that founded Downtown Rising in 2019 to help promote downtown Lafayette.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to the headliners, performers Gerald Gruenig & Gentilly Zydeco, Que Beleza, Homegrown Reggae, DJ RV, Skye Isaac and Low Dial are also playing the event this year; with food trucks, all-ages activities, a mobile beer bus, photobooth and other vendors rounding out the music festival atmosphere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
