On Wednesday, Sept. 10, the influencer was shot in the neck after a sniper took aim at him while he was speaking at Utah<\/a> Valley University.<\/p>\n

First Met- 2018<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Charlie first met Erika back in 2018 when the two met at a Turning Point USA office opening. The two bonded over their shared passion for conservative activism.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While speaking on a panel in 2024, the influencer admitted he \u201cknew almost immediately\u201d that she was \u201cthe one.\u201d He then recalled the first moment they had met, comparing it to \u201can interview.\u201d<\/p>\n

Started Dating- 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Engagement- 2020<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On December 2, 2020, Charlie got down on one knee and proposed. He announced the news to Instagram, saying, \u201cShe said yes,\u201d followed by a heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Got Married- 2021<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Charlie tied the knot to Erika on May 8, 2021 during a private ceremony in Scottsdale, Ariz.<\/p>\n

“To the man that loves so deeply, so intentionally, so selflessly, so unconditionally that it reminds me of Christ,” Erika wrote to announce their nuptials. “…to the man that I am immeasurably blessed to be able to call my husband. My CJK. I love you @charliekirk1776.”<\/p>\n

Welcomed Their First Child- 2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Charlie and Erika welcomed their daughter on August 23, 2022.<\/p>\n

Welcomed Their Second Child- 2024<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Erika gave birth to their second child, a boy, in May of 2024.<\/p>\n

Charlie just began a speech at UVU when he was fatally shot. It is believed that a sniper was in a range of around 200 yards when he had fired at the activist.<\/p>\n

He was initially hospitalized in critical condition but ultimately from the wound.<\/p>\n

Erika has not broken her silence since the shooting transpired and her husband was pronounced dead<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
