The song from the English group has been a staple cover on Matt Berninger\u2019s UK\/Europe Tour around his 2025 solo album, Get Sunk<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Matt tapped the same band who recorded Get Sunk<\/em> to help him cut the cover of \u201cBlue Monday\u201d at Knobworld in Los Angeles. The track sees contributions from guitarist Sean O\u2019Brien<\/strong>, bassist Garret Lang<\/strong>, keyboardist Julia Laws<\/strong> and drummer Sterling Laws<\/strong>. O\u2019Brien also handled producer duties alongside Jannick Frampton.<\/p>\n New Order, who Matt Berninger called one of his \u201cfavorite bands,\u201d released \u201cBlue Monday\u201d as a 12-inch single in 1983.
