Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a> recently revealed that she\u2019s dipping her toe back into the dating pool, but her friends and family are reportedly concerned with how she\u2019s meeting men.<\/p>\n The pop icon, 43, recently shared a clip<\/a> on Monday, September 8, of herself dancing in a bathroom while on a date. She wore a short, black slip dress with a white lace trim that she paired with leopard knee-high boots.<\/p>\n \u201cDinner sushi date but I have my own girl party in the bathroom!!!\u201d Spears captioned the post. \u201cYummy, the guy was absolutely horrible. Psss show effort, no makeup.\u201d<\/p>\n While the \u201cToxic\u201d singer doesn\u2019t share many specifics on her dating life, a source told the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday, September 10, that sometimes she meets up with men who have messaged her via her direct messages on Instagram.<\/p>\n \u201cBritney has responded to people on social media, but rarely,\u201d the source told the publication. \u201cIt takes a certain type of guy to slide into her DMs, and of course she gets a lot of them and I don\u2019t think she responds often, but I know it has happened. She\u2019s attracted to confidence, and it takes a confident man to decide that he\u2019s going to message her and start chatting.\u201d<\/p>\n Spears has been single since her split from Paul Soliz<\/strong><\/a>, a former handyman who worked on her staff. The two had a turbulent relationship with at least one incident where the cops were called to the Chateau Marmont hotel after the two allegedly got into a verbal altercation. However, the two parted ways earlier this year in February.<\/p>\n Before Soliz, 38, Spears had been married three separate times. She tied the knot with her childhood friend Jason Alexander<\/strong> in a whirlwind Vegas wedding in 2004, but it was annulled just 55 hours later.<\/p>\n That same year, the Crossroads<\/em> star married dancer Kevin Federline<\/strong><\/a> and they went on to welcome two sons. Sean Preston<\/strong> was born on September 14, 2005, and Jayden James<\/strong> was born less than a year later on September 12, 2005. She and Federline, 47, split three years later in 2007.<\/p>\n Spears began dating Sam Asghari<\/strong> in 2016 after they met on the set of \u201cSlumber Party\u201d music video. They married on June 9<\/a>, 2022, in a ceremony held at her home, but a little over a year later, Asghari, 31, filed for divorce.
