Bachelor Nation was in for a surprise when the new star of The Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> was revealed to be Taylor Frankie Paul.<\/strong><\/p>\n Taylor\u2019s no stranger to reality TV, but for those who aren\u2019t familiar with her Hulu show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a>, here are five things to know before she embarks on her journey to find love.<\/p>\n Taylor, 31, is a single mom to three kids. She and her ex-husband, Tate Paul<\/strong>, welcomed their daughter Indy<\/strong> in 2017, followed by their son Ocean<\/strong> in 2020. After Taylor and Tate divorced in May 2022, she began dating Dakota Mortensen<\/strong>. Viewers of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> saw parts of Taylor and Dakota\u2019s relationship play out during the series and by the end of season 1, they welcomed their son Ever<\/strong> in March 2024.<\/p>\n The reality TV star previously admitted that being a mom was one of the things that made her nervous about agreeing to be the next Bachelorette.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a co-parent. I have two baby daddies, not one, so I\u2019m dealing with two different people, my children, my home base is [in Utah]. Can I travel that long? Can I be gone that long?\u201d Taylor said during an appearance on Call Her Daddy<\/em><\/a>, published on Wednesday, September 10.<\/p>\n Before she landed a spot on one of the most popular new reality TV shows, Taylor had quite a large following on TikTok. She and several of her friends started what they branded \u201cMomTok\u201d sometime in 2020 and since then, their popularity has exploded. Now, Taylor boasts over 5 million followers.<\/p>\n Not all of the original MomTok members decided to be a part of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>, and it was because the group had a falling out due to a \u201csoft-swinging scandal\u201d that made headlines in 2022.<\/p>\n Taylor revealed that she and Tate had an agreement amongst their group of friends that they could be intimate with others as long as there was no actual sexual intercourse. She later admitted to crossing that line and it was the catalyst for her and Tate\u2019s divorce.<\/p>\n When it came to what Taylor was looking for in an ideal partner, she made it very clear that the man had to either live in Utah or be willing to move to Utah where she\u2019s based.<\/p>\n \u201cI have two baby daddies. I\u2019m going nowhere, so you will be moving to me in Utah, so if you like me enough, you will be moving,\u201d she told the Today<\/em> show.<\/p>\n Along with having to be located in Utah, Taylor said she wants someone who is \u201chardworking, motivated and in their 30s or early 40s.\u201d<\/p>\n While there\u2019s plenty for Taylor to be excited about when it comes to being the star of The Bachelorette<\/em>, she recently said that she\u2019s most looking forward to \u201cmeeting a handful of people that are outside my bubble.\u201d<\/p>\nShe\u2019s a Mom of Three<\/h2>\n
