Bad Omens have released their new single \u2018Impose\u2019, alongside a dazzling music video directed by the band\u2019s<\/a> very own Noah Sebastion.<\/h2>\n

After teasing a new single<\/a> on social media earlier this week, Bad Omens has finally dropped the new genre-blending track \u2018Impose\u2019 along with an accompanying music video.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Noah Sebastian and Nico both directed the music video, which follows a couple slowly falling apart over the course of a single night. In a press release, the band would describe the video as \u201ca disorienting romantic all-nighter after a chance encounter at a nightclub,\u201d with its central characters being \u201ca woman stuck in a cycle of fast living\u201d and a \u201cman merely a bystander to her unravelling\u201d.<\/p>\n

To match this starting nightclub location, the song itself begins with an atmospheric drum n\u2019 bass rhythm. Eventually, the drum machine is replaced by Nick Folio\u2019s acoustic kit, interpolating the same rhythm. Over time, the song slowly builds momentum, introducing guitars and the driving vocal chop sample, which moves to the forefront of the mix, now played on a synth. To match the building momentum of the song, the music video shows the woman slowly unravelling throughout the night. We love themes!<\/p>\n
