Lacuna Coil<\/a> have announced their return to Australia, with a five-date capital city run booked in for February 2026. The new shows are part of the Italian alternative metal band\u2019s Sleepless Empire<\/em> world tour, which is in support of their recently-released 10th studio album of the same name. All of the upcoming tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.<\/p>\n The Sleepless Empire<\/em> tour is the band\u2019s first headlining Australian run in almost a decade, with their last tour of that ilk taking place in 2016 to support their eighth album Delirium<\/em> \u2013 which was released that year. Lacuna Coil were booked on Download Festival<\/a> for 2020, but pulled out on account of Italy being one of the first countries majorly impacted by COVID. The entire festival was later cancelled.<\/p>\n The band eventually made their way back to Australia in December of 2022, performing at that year\u2019s Good Things<\/a> alongside Bring Me The Horizon<\/a>, Deftones<\/a>, NOFX<\/a> and a reunited TISM<\/a>, among others. While in the country, the five-piece also played a run of east-coast shows supporting Gojira<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sleepless Empire<\/em> was released on Valentine\u2019s Day \u2013 Friday, February 14th \u2013 in 2025 via Century Media. The band\u2019s first album in six years, following 2019\u2019s Anima<\/em>, it included six singles released between June 2023 and January 2025. They were, in chronological order, \u2018Never Dawn\u2019, \u2018In the Mean Time\u2019, \u2018Hosting the Shadow\u2019, \u2018Oxygen\u2019, \u2018Gravity\u2019 and \u2018I Wish You Were Dead\u2019.
