Savannah Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> says she was meant to join political commentator Charlie Kirk<\/strong><\/a> on his college campus speaking tour in October amid his death.<\/p>\n

The Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot<\/a> Wednesday, September 10, during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was 31. Wednesday\u2019s event was the first stop on Kirk\u2019s American Comeback Tour<\/em>, which was supposed to travel to campuses across the U.S. through September and October.<\/p>\n

In an emotional TikTok<\/a> video shared late Wednesday night, Savanah, 28, mourned the death of her friend, who she said had supported her in her endeavors to free her parents, Todd<\/strong> and Julie Chrisley<\/strong>, from prison over the last two and a half years. (The couple, who were convicted<\/a> of tax evasion and bank and wire fraud in 2022, were pardoned<\/a> by President Donald Trump<\/strong> in May.)<\/p>\n

\u201cToday\u2019s been a tough day,\u201d the Chrisley Knows Best<\/em><\/a> alum said. \u201cThe past two and a half years of my life have been some of the hardest years I\u2019ve ever had to endure, but in those two and a half years, I\u2019ve met so many people great people and lifelong friends, and one of those people that brought me into their world was Charlie Kirk.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHollywood stars are speaking out to mourn the death of controversial conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. News broke on Wednesday, September 10, that Kirk was shot and killed during a\u00a0 speaking engagement in Utah. He was 31. \u201cThe Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,\u201d President Donald Trump wrote via his Truth Social platform. \u201cNo [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Savannah extended her condolences to Kirk\u2019s wife, Erika Frantzve<\/strong>, with whom he shared two children, describing her as one of the \u201ckindest, most loving human beings I\u2019ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was supposed to be sitting next to Charlie every weekend in October,\u201d Savannah said.<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThis is tough. Pray for Charlie, pray for his parents, his children, his entire family. Erika, my heart is with you. I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah further reflected on her friendship with Kirk, and her role on his speaking tour, in the video\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am numb. I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m even writing these words. Charlie Kirk changed my life\u2026he brought me into the Turning Point family this past year, and I was supposed to be standing next to him at every college this October. Instead, I sit here with a broken heart, devastated beyond words,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
