Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> offered just a few words about his private meeting with his father, King Charles III<\/strong><\/a>, after the pair reunited for a private tea in London on Wednesday, September 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, he\u2019s great, thank you,\u201d Harry, 40, responded to a question about his royal reunion<\/a> during an engagement for his Invictus Games Foundation, which took place Wednesday evening after he was spotted at Clarence House to meet his father.<\/p>\n

According to Sky News<\/em><\/a>, Harry arrived at Clarence House at around 5:20 p.m. local time and departed for the Invictus Games event at around 6:14 p.m. He and Charles, 76, met for around 54 minutes in their first private audience since February 2024, when Harry visited his father after news broke of the king\u2019s cancer diagnosis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harry has been in the U.K. this week for the annual WellChild Awards<\/a> in London on Monday, September 8, and other engagements close to his heart, including a visit Wednesday to the Centre for Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College London.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry has kept details about his father, Prince Charles, relatively to himself through the years, but after his and wife Meghan Markle\u2019s exit in 2020, the Duke of Sussex got real about tension with his dad. Over the years, Harry publicly applauded Charles for his parenting skills [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Duke of Sussex previously shared his hopes for reconciliation<\/a> with his father in an interview with the BBC in May after he lost his appeal to reinstate<\/a> government-funded security for him and his family in the U.K. (Harry and wife Meghan Markle<\/strong> lost their security detail after stepping down as working members of the royal family in 2020.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love reconciliation with my family. There\u2019s no point in continuing to fight anymore,\u201d Harry said in May. \u201cLife is precious. I don\u2019t know how much longer my father has.\u201d<\/p>\n
