Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> concluded his U.K. trip with a visit to a charity honoring his later mother, Princess Diana<\/strong><\/a>, after his surprising reunion with King Charles III<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harry, 40, attended an event for The Diana Award, the only charity established in Diana\u2019s name after her death, in London on Thursday, September 11. He joined a group of people who discussed how their social action initiatives have helped uplift mental health.<\/p>\n

While speaking to the crowd, Harry paid tribute to his mom.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother believed in the power and agency of young people to positively impact the world. The Diana Award continues her legacy by putting young people at the heart of everything they do,\u201d he said. \u201cToday is a perfect example of that. My message to everyone is don\u2019t stand still, don\u2019t stay silent \u2014 make them hear you because you speak for the majority.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhen Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their positions as senior working royals, the duke\u2019s relationship with father King Charles III dissipated. \u201cMy family literally cut me off financially, and I [needed to be able to] afford security for us,\u201d the Duke of Sussex alleged in his bombshell CBS interview in March [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Harry elaborated on the charity\u2019s<\/a> efforts after the discussion came to an end.<\/p>\n

\u201cGetting involved in peaceful social action takes courage and determination. Young people see the issues society faces close up \u2014 whether that\u2019s poor mental health or the consequences of inequalities,\u201d he explained. \u201cBut you don\u2019t stand still \u2014 your empathy and compassion drive you to make change. Purpose combined with action can help overcome a sense of hopelessness, and that\u2019s exactly what you\u2019ve shown today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry continued: \u201cWhen you spoke about how taking action gave you purpose, confidence, and joy, it was more powerful than any statistic. It reminded me that agency is not a luxury for young people, it is a lifeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex\u2019s appearance came one day after Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that he officially crossed paths with Charles, 76, for the first time in nearly two years. Harry was spotted arriving at Charles\u2019 London residence, Clarence House, during his longest U.K. trip since the death and funeral of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong> in 2022.<\/p>\n
