It sounds like the\u00a0Fire Country<\/a><\/em> Season 4 premiere title (\u201cGoodbye for Now\u201d) might be referring to Gabriela, with Stephanie Arcila<\/a> not returning as a series regular. However, Arcila will be back for that first episode, which airs on Friday, October 17, at 8\/7c (one hour earlier than usual for this one, swapping spots with Sheriff Country<\/a><\/em>, debuting right after).<\/p>\n After that major cliffhanger in the Season 3 finale \u2014 Bode (Max Thieriot<\/a>) could only watch as a burning building collapsed with his father Vince (Billy Burke<\/a>), mother Sharon (Diane Farr<\/a>), and grandfather Walter (Jeff Fahey<\/a>) inside \u2014 it should be no surprise that the premiere will pick up immediately for that rescue. And part of that first episode is the farewell to Gabriela.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re so happy to have Stephanie back, to have Gabriela back in the premiere, and we really wrote a love letter to the character,\u201d executive producer Tia Napolitano<\/a> tells TV Insider. \u201cWe will see glimpses of Bodiela [the relationship between exes Bode and Gabriela]. It\u2019s really a beautiful sendoff for now that\u2019s fitting to the character that, if you\u2019re fan, I think it\u2019s real fan candy.\u201d<\/p>\n As for what we\u2019ll see between Bode and Gabriela, \u201cShe\u2019ll become very significant to him, as she always has been, in support in his life in the premiere so that he wonders when she leaves how he\u2019s going to be without her,\u201d Napolitano teases. \u201cWe\u2019ve only known him since she\u2019s been in his life in different capacities over the years, so, it\u2019ll shake things up. I think it\u2019ll make us wanting more Gabriela in the future, which is never a bad thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Bode won\u2019t be the only one to feel Gabriela\u2019s absence. There\u2019s also her father, Manny (Kevin Alejandro<\/a>).\u00a0\u201cWith Gabriela eventually not here every episode, he\u2019s got all of this dad advice and dad jokes with nowhere to go, so you see him being a parental figure to Jake [Jordan Calloway<\/a>], to Eve [Jules Latimer<\/a>], of course to Bode in ways that remind us, Manny\u2019s got wisdom. We put him through it. Manny\u2019s got a lot of wisdom,\u201d says the EP.<\/p>\n As for seeing Arcila again, \u201cNever say never,\u201d according to Napolitano.<\/p>\n
