Robert spent 30 days<\/a> in a rehab facility since the RHOSLC episode aired. At the time, the Bravolebrity praised her son for taking that step. But it is still a long journey to recovery.<\/p>\n On September 10, Mary was a guest on SiriusXM\u2019S Reality Checked<\/a> radio show. She shared with co-host, and Real Housewives of New York<\/a> alum, Dorinda Medley<\/a> that Robert Jr. is \u201cdoing as good as he can\u201d these days.<\/p>\n Mary clarified on the radio show that \u201cit\u2019s his journey.\u201d And Robert Jr. has to be committed to the process. \u201cIf you don\u2019t make your mind up, then this is all for nothing,\u201d she explained of her conversation with him.<\/p>\n The RHOSLC favorite continued, \u201cAnd if it just takes a made-up mind to do and execute whatever you are trying to do, but you can\u2019t do it if your mind\u2019s not made up. And I can\u2019t make it up for him.\u201d<\/p>\n Mary\u2019s dedication to her only child is very clear. However, she noted that she is still limited on how much she can help. And it\u2019s \u201ctough to watch as a mom.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can just only push him, encourage him and love him. And that\u2019s what I\u2019m doing. That\u2019s kind of where we are,\u201d Mary explained. \u201cBut he\u2019s still on that road and it\u2019s a hardcore road.\u201d<\/p>\n However, a mother\u2019s determination and optimism for her child knows no bounds. And Mary is very hopeful. She shared, \u201cI believe in him.
